Worship Team

Mission Statement:

• "To serve the Gallatin Church of Christ by enhancing all worship assemblies, bringing each member into a closer relationship with God."

Theme Verse:

• Psalms 57:7, 9-11 - "My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and make music; I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples. For great is your love, reaching to the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth." (NIV)

Purpose:

• To plan all aspects of each worship assembly, coordinating themes so that each service will have a focused theme, while implementing more creative aspects of corporate worship such as special music, special audio/video, responsive readings, etc.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Work with Preaching Minister on a weekly basis to plan themes for AM & PM worship assemblies
• Oversee preparation of Communion for AM & PM assemblies
• Oversee media ministry (i.e. PowerPoint, audio equipment, etc.)
• Schedule weekly serving assignments (e.g. announcements, worship leader, Communion servers, etc.)
• Oversee planning and production of annual Christmas program and other special programs as planned by the Team
• Propose and observe annual budget for Worship Team
• Report on status of ministry to church leadership at each Leadership Meeting
