Member Care Team

Mission Statement:

"To serve the Gallatin Church of Christ by meeting the needs of her members in times of crisis physically and spiritually, while assisting her elders in shepherding the flock on a weekly basis."

Theme Verse:

Galatians 6:10 - "Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers." (NIV)

Purpose:

To plan, develop and administrate a systematic way of making sure our members are taken care of by tracking attendance, organizing service of members when needs arise, assimilating new members, and organizing a prayer chain for prayer needs of our members.

Specific Responsibilities:

Make sure flowers are sent to families at the death of loved ones
Make sure food is sent to families during times of crisis and/or grief
Track attendance at every assembly (i.e. Sunday School, AM & PM worship, Wednesday night, KFC, etc.)
Implement "phone tree" or "prayer chain" calling plan for special prayer request, announcements, etc.
Oversee new member assimilation
Propose and observe annual budget for Member Care Team
Report on status of ministry to church leadership at each Leadership Meeting
